We are a senior living community that prioritizes and promotes an active, social, and vibrant lifestyle for its residents. As a resident, you become part of our family. We understand the unique needs of each individual and aim to provide a comprehensive and all-encompassing approach to living that fosters vitality and well-being.
As part of our Senior Living Community, we support each resident's independence while providing the security of 24-hour staff and personalized care services if required. Residents also have access to social activities, opportunities to connect with friends, and stay physically active by participating in various events and programs. The goal is to ensure that seniors can continue living an active lifestyle for many years to come while receiving the support they need to thrive.
Our approach emphasizes the importance of social engagement, physical activity, and personalized care, ensuring that seniors feel valued and cared for in their new living environment.

Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) are essential self-care tasks that individuals typically perform on a daily basis to take care of themselves and maintain basic functional independence. These activities are essential for an individual's well-being and overall quality of life. ADLs are often used as a measure to assess a person's ability to function independently or to determine the level of care they may need.
There are six primary ADLs:
Personal Hygiene: Activities related to maintaining personal cleanliness and grooming, such as bathing or showering, brushing teeth, washing hands, and grooming hair.
Dressing: Putting on and taking off clothes, including managing buttons, zippers, and other fasteners.
Eating: Preparing meals and the ability to feed oneself, including the use of utensils, cutting food, and drinking from a glass or cup.
Transferring: Moving from one position to another, such as getting in and out of bed, chairs, or a wheelchair.
Continence: The ability to control bowel and bladder functions.
Toileting: Managing personal needs in the bathroom, including using the toilet and maintaining personal hygiene.
In our community, we assist with personal hygiene, dressing, cooking and meal preparation, transportation, medication management and more on an as needed basis. We design a care plan for each person's unique needs to help them remain as independent and healthy as long as possible. We offer many different levels of care and welcome the opportunity to work with you or your loved one directly to determine what is best.

Patient Experience
"My mother has lived at Langdon Place for 18 years. She is still thriving there thanks to all the staff. I have great communication with the employees and am so grateful to all of them! They are kind, loving and compassionate. The most important thing is that my mother is safe. It's a beautiful place to live. They keep the residents busy with all sorts of activities and parties.”

"Mom & Dad have been very happy to call Langdon their home for the past 3 years - and we consider everyone family. Compassion and support are key - building a foundation of quality care. Mom & Dad are treated with genuine kindness - always made to feel extra special. Many staff members have continuously gone to great efforts so that my parents can stay together and I am forever grateful.”

"Many thanks to all of you for being there and giving such great care and comfort to our loved ones. We are so appreciative and realize that you are also away from your own loved ones during this chaotic and concerning time. Mom and Dad are thriving, comfortable and are in such capable hands.
Thank You!”
